Octane boosting additive “Aplidium”
The additive, which can compete with the banned in Russia monomethyl aniline “Aplidium”, is a homolog of N-methyl aniline (MMA) and works as an octane number corrector. “Aplidium” — the own development of the company “Oduvanchik”, is the product of long tests and tests: two cars with the same internal combustion engines and filled with gasoline Euro-5 drove the same distance. In the gasoline of one of the cars, from 1 to 5 percent of monomethyl aniline was gradually added, in the gasoline of the other — “Aplidium”. Every 3000 kilometers, both engines were opened to check and compare the carbon formation.
Laboratory tests have shown that when using “Aplidium”, all the parameters of the finished gasoline remain within the permissible limits, and the pronounced anti-knock effect is not in doubt. When 1.5% “Aplidium” is added to the mixture of isooctane and normal heptane, the octane number increases by 5.5 units according to the research method and by 5.3 units according to the motor method, the combustion becomes uniform, the engine runs as fast as possible.
In addition to aromatic amines, the additive consists of organic solvents. They have a washing effect and prevent the formation of resins in the fuel system of the car.
The introduction of “Aplidium” makes it easier to obtain high-octane gasoline, reduces the cost of the final product, which fully meets the requirements of Euro-5 for gasoline.
